My aim in initiating "Netto" Violin was to add to my inventory a more affordable instrument.  I also wanted it to still be my own  handmade violin , with uncompromising sound and attention to details and style.
I chose to redesign the neck and the corners, details in which we makers invest much effort when making a classic violin and their influence on the sound is somewhat less distinctive.
The "Netto S" model is based on my strad pattern (I hope Antonio doesn't flip in his grave) that's what the S in the "Netto S " stands for.
